Collection Cosmetics - The Holiday Movie

I recently had an amazing experience at the Everyman Cinema in King’s Cross, where I watched The Holiday (2006) thanks to a competition I won on Instagram! The contest was hosted by Collection Cosmetics, a beauty makeup company, and to enter, I had to like their post, tag a friend, and share it. To my surprise, I received a message saying I had won, and I could bring a plus one. Naturally, I chose my sister, who’s a bigger makeup lover than I am.

When we arrived at the Everyman Cinema, we were greeted warmly and treated to unlimited drinks, including alcohol. The atmosphere was lively, and I even spotted a few influencers I recognized from TikTok and Instagram. We had our pictures taken holding Collection Cosmetics’ GRIP HOLD Plumping Face Primer, the product they were promoting at the event.

One fun moment was choosing our souvenir cups—we got to pick the color we liked best. I chose a mint green cup to match my top, while my sister opted for a pink one, her favorite color. For food, there was a delicious spread of pizza, hot dogs, and chips, which made the evening feel even more festive.

The highlight of the night was, of course, the private screening of The Holiday. Watching the film in such an intimate setting reminded me how much people cherished the magic of Christmas and New Year back in the day. Along with the movie, we received Collection Cosmetics-branded popcorn and drinks, plus a packet of sweets from Everyman Cinema.

After the film, we were surprised with an incredible goodie bag filled with Collection Cosmetics makeup, and there were even extra products displayed on the tables. When I got home, I couldn’t wait to try the makeup. I absolutely loved the Buster Glitter for my cheeks—it’s perfect for the holiday season!

Overall, this event was such a treat. I love attending makeup events, and this one was extra special with its festive theme and exclusive perks. I’m already planning to buy their foundation to review in my latest beauty blog.
